幻冬舍よりついに出版されたHari。既存の枠を超えてタトゥーをさらなるレベルへと昇華させたアーティスト、Jun Matsuiの作品集です。翻訳を担当させて頂きました。これを読まずに現代のタトゥーは語れないでしょう。Hari“, published by Gentosha Inc., is now available. This bilingual book is a collection of tattooist Jun Matsui’s designs from body art to clothes and graphics. The edition explores the inspiration behind the designs and provides analysis and insight into the world behind the taboo and mystery of contemporary tattoo culture. ONE TO NINE did the translation for the project.

Honjo’s landscape pictures have a surreal quality about them often looking more like images of fake miniature models rather than than the real thing. Flipping through the pages rockets the reader into a weird and strangely calm environment. Translation by ONE TO NINE.
